KJade is an artist, entertainer and model that originates from New Orleans, Louisiana. She evacuated to the Maryland area during Hurricane Katrina when she was only 7 years old. KJade has always loved singing, music, and acting… really anything performing arts. Growing up there for almost 11 years had a dramatic impact, yet great influence on her, but she longed to be back home. She, in her senior year, decided she would move back to her hometown for college at Loyola University where she graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Popular & Commercial Music as a vocalist. Her main musical inspirations are pulled from artists such as Jill Scott, Teena Marie, Etta James, Prince, Esthero, Erykah Badu, Nina Simone, Lauryn Hil, John Legend, and many more!
